What a view-once text is

It's a written message that behaves like a view-once photo: it opens a single time and disappears. Unlike a regular chat, the text isn't stored in any app's history, doesn't go to cloud backups and can't be reopened.

After the first read, the content is removed from the database. Not even the sender can see the text again — only the viewed status stays in your history.

How to send it step by step

The flow is the same as for photos and audio, with nothing to install.

• At the content step, choose the Text option.
• Write your message of up to 500 characters. Links are not allowed inside the text, to keep delivery safe.
• Pick the delivery channel: WhatsApp, anonymous SMS (Brazil) or email.
• Optionally, add a short message that goes along with the link and helps the person understand what they're receiving.
• Pay with Pix or card and the link is delivered right away.

What the recipient gets

The recipient only receives the link and your presentation message — the secret text never appears in WhatsApp, the SMS or the email. On opening, a notice makes it clear the content will be shown only once and, after reading, the link stops working.

Text limits and rules

The limit is 500 characters per send. Texts containing links are blocked automatically, as well as content that mimics banks or known scams.

The send expires in 24 hours: if nobody opens it in that window, the text is destroyed the same way.

When to use text instead of photo or audio

View-once text is ideal for temporary passwords, codes, addresses, delicate notes or any information that shouldn't stay recorded in a conversation.
